Set in the heart of Watchet, an ancient harbour town, and ideally situated for walks on The Quantocks or Exmoor, taking fishing trips from the newly developed Marina, or for visiting nearby historic sites such as Dunster Castle and Cleeve Abbey. All of our comfortably furnished rooms are en-suite and have TV and drinks tray, with most having views of the sea or of the The West Somerset Railway.
Having grown up in Somerset I wanted to take my partner there to experience it for herself after spending a lot of time travelling around other parts of the UK. Watchet is the quintessential Somerset fishing town, beautifully charming with warm local ales, even warmer locals and great seafood. The Ivy House was the perfect place to stay; spacious, friendly and reasonably priced. The owner, Lynda was always happy to assist us in finding the best things to do and to get a local flavour + we were served up a cracking breakfast too! Would recommend it to anyone and have been to friends & family already.
